It is days like this I am so glad we live on a farm.  The temperature was perfect-almost 70 on a February evening.  We hiked into our back pasture so hubby could haul a dead tree out of the field with his new toy tractor.  I’ll tell you more about the tractor another day.  Here is a brief recap of our hike that wound into the pasture and back around to the barnyard.

We learned about vertebrae and guessed which animal this belonged to.

On our hike back we had this view. We were on the lookout for a turtle.

Farm girl loves hikes, especially hunting for wildlife.  I’d say today’s best find was the skeleton (deer?).  Farm girl says her favorite part of the hike was “spending time with you and walking with you”.  Can’t get much simpler than that, can you?  My heart is full.
