Who knew watching baby chickens could be so entertaining. I’ll tell myself I’m just going to peek into the brooder for a few seconds. Ten minutes later, I find myself entranced by the little feathered ladies. They run around. They jump. They stretch their little wings. They try to fly. They drink. They eat.
They’ve started growing tail feathers. Isn’t there a song about shaking tail feathers? I guess it was written by someone who owned chicks, right?!
